Sunbird Cape Cod is a neighborhood cafe and lifestyle brand. We started as a food truck in Wellfleet in 2010, evolved into a cafe in Orleans around 2014, and now we’ve opened our online shop, sunbirdcapecod.com, to share what inspires us here, and help support what makes it so special.
Our purpose is to ‘Cape it simple’ like the birds here do, and to inspire each other to do the same.

We have a growing collection of Cape Cod and bird-inspired lifestyle clothing and accessories for men and women including graphic tees, hoodies, hats, and more. Likewise, our Kids + Tots collection is growing as well!
We’re also offering (or planning offer) more and more things for home and life on the go, like drinkwear, bags, wall art, and more.
Put another way, we’re just getting started, and can’t wait to share more ideas and inspiration!

We do! All of our ideas are “in-house”. We design everything ourselves and create our own original content. Everything we make is inspired by life here on Cape Cod, and other adventures we have out there.

Because we want to guarantee an awesome and Effin’ great experience for all of our customers with these products, we operate under a print on demand service; meaning that when you place your order, we are not pulling it off a shelf and putting it in an envelope, the item is being printed directly for you.

!! This honestly depends on your order. Because we ship a variety of different products from a lot of different places to a lot of different places, certain items might take longer than expected. Our usual aim for fulfillment is between 3-7 business days. Your shipping time is up to you, in what you choose at check out. Please keep in mind that your country / location can have an effect on how long a product can get to you. For example, if you are in Europe and order something that is manufactured in the United States, there might be extra time to get over the Atlantic, get approved by her majesty the Queen of England and then delivered to you.

!! Many items are fulfilled from the United States, though mugs and some clothing items will come from either US or EU locations, whichever is closer to you, to save on shipping and import charges. Items can come from the US, the EU or Canada. Please keep in mind all items will ship with their like items, meaning that stickers will ship with stickers and apparel will ship with apparel - this is done to protect the order. Most items will ship separately.

In the event that the Effin' Stork loses your parcel upon delivery, please get into contact with our customer care team who will work to escalate the issue with the shipper and manufacturer in order to get a new item sent out as soon as possible. If you do not receive your product within 20 days of you receiving the shipping notification of the order (with the exception of the Effin' Birds pins) please contact us as soon as possible, so we can look into this.

!! Every return is handled on a case by case basis by our customer care team. We cannot guarantee that any return will be accepted for buyers remorse. Our customer care team will work directly with you to discuss all of your options to make sure that you’re getting the best possible solution that will meet your needs. No returns / exchanges will be accepted after 30 days of the items arrival.

!! In the unlikely scenario that your product arrives damaged, we will work to get a new product (of the same size and image) sent out to you as soon as possible. We always want to make sure that the product arrives in great condition, if it doesn’t, email us a picture of the problem and we’ll get right on it! Typically, we only see this problem with the mugs or prints, but if you are dissatisfied with the quality of the product, email us a picture so we can escalate it.

Our current hours are 7am-3pm Friday through Monday (Closed Tues, Wed, Thurs).
These hours directly reflect our real-time ability to bring you consistently great food, drinks, and more in a sustainable way that doesn’t compromise on quality, or throw our dedicated team under a bus.

We keep things simple and seasonal at Sunbird. For our menus, this means offering fewer, better choices focused on the best of what’s around.
And in case you’re wondering, we source everything responsibly, and locally whenever possible. Basically, it’s a given that whatever you get here is thoughtfully made, served, and meant to be thoroughly enjoyed.

Our menu is intentionally small, and focused on simple, fresh ingredients. Some items stay the same year-round, while others change seasonally. Basically, how nature does it.
We serve sandwiches, salads, sides, and prepared foods
We serve seasonally inspired sandwiches, locally fresh salad and veggies, sharable snacks and more (vegan and gluten-free options available).
You’ll also find fresh-made pastry to go with your favorite coffee drink.

Like everything Sunbird, our approach to food is keeping it simple, and making it worth flying for.
Our food isn’t complicated, it’s elevated by the care and attention that goes into making it with whatever’s seasonally available nearby. We think everyone should have access to the good stuff, and we strive to make it so.

We love great coffee without lofty theatrics. Our coffee is good because it can be, and easy for anyone to get and enjoy because it should be.
We don’t roast our own coffee because we love exploring the best of what’s out there and bringing it to you!
And as you should expect, we only source our coffee from earth and people-friendly roasters with proven track records for giving a flock.
